The Alliance Française de Hartford is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of the French language and culture and to fostering friendship and understanding with the French-speaking world. Our Chapter has been in the Greater Hartford Area for more than 50 years. The Alliance Française was founded in Paris in 1883 and has been established in 112 countries serving 150 million members. The Alliance Française de Hartford shares this mission with the three other AF chapters in Connecticut: Northwest Connecticut, New Haven and Greenwich. |

Membership: Alliance Française membership is open to anyone interested in French Language and Culture. Membership levels are Basic: Single ($35)/Family ($45), Silver: Single( $50)/Family($65), Gold: Single($100)/ Family($125), Platinum: $300 |

Parking: For classes and programs parking is available after 5 p.m. in the LAZ-operated lot (across from the firehouse) on Pearl Street. Show your membership card for the special rate of $3. In addition, students may park in the Goodwin Parking Garage on Ann Street for $5 with a ticket validated by the AF Director or a teacher at each class meeting. Street parking is often available and is free after 6 pm and on weekends. |

| French teachers needed part-time: The Alliance Française of Hartford is recruiting part-time French teachers for its weekday evening and Saturday morning adult classes. Applicants should have the equivalent of a master's degree, with native or near native fluency, and some experience in teaching. Foreign nationals must hold valid residency papers.
